Confession of a (Teenage) Geek: Geek Tuesday's

HOLY CRAP I HAVEN'T POSTED IN A WEEK. I blame the internet which I have not had since like last week but no fear, today's geek post is here!!!

1) Teen Wolf isn't on today,I find that super depressing. Thank god for Tumblr though because they feel my pain. *stares at downloads to finish so teen wolf can be on my iPod*

2) Bloodlines by Richelle Mead came out today. I. AM. SO. EXCITED.

3) So, re-watching Angel yesterday, I realized that sparked my obsession with vampires. But not just any kind, I'm talking being able to stake 'em and burn them in the sun. Also, Cordy was the BOMB!

4) Warehouse 13 and Eureka have taken up space on my computer. I regret nothing.

So while Geek Tuesday was short, tomorrow Books will be back!!!!!! With Texas Gothic.

Confessions of a (Teenage) Geek: Geek Tuesdays

My priorities are screwed. I'm SORRY BUT MY DVR CALLS TO ME!!!

but anyway I blame my obsession with Monday nights (like EUREKA, and WAREHOUSE 13 and TEEN WOLF?!) is exactly like my obsession with Thursday's and Friday's. But right now is Geek Tuesday's where I say what makes me scream with fangirlishness that rivals those "Twi-peoples" obsession.

1. I know the words to the entire musical episode of Buffy Once More, With Feeling. Like, if you ask me, I can break into "I Got a Theory/Bunnies/If We're Together"

2. The SYFY channel also makes me scream with delight every time I turn on the TV.

3. I went to Comic Con like two years ago and saw Supernatural on their panel. I went and the peoples found me awesome because I KNEW EVERYTHING ABOUT THE SHOW. It was awesome.

4. I have playlists FOR EVERYTHING. Don't see how this is weird but I have a playlist for cleaning. IT'S WEIRD.

5. I have an obsession with any show that is Supernatural. MTV's Teen Wolf, Vampire Diaries (!!!), Supernatural, Pretty Little Liars, Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Torchwood, Firefly, Doctor Who.

6. Despite the list, only Doctor Who makes me want to go find a Time Lord and a TARDIS and have epic adventures.

7. Torchwood (adult show, tread carefully) makes me want to fight aliens and Captain Jack Harkness is totally swoon worthy. *cough*

7*. That being said, the main cast of Torchwood looked ridiculously good. Especially Ianto and Owen. God, I love them.

8. Only three episodes of Buffy were able to make me cry, Passion, Helpless, and Seeing Red. They're just... *bawls*

9. I saw Firefly when I was 5-6. I didn't understand it then 'till I was 12 and had Netflix and understood it. BUT YEAHH FIREFLY!

10. When I was a wee little child, my brother and sister introduced me to video games specifically the Final Fantasy franchise and Kingdom Hearts. In KH2, there was an organization called Organization 13 and I REALLY BADLY WANTED THIS COAT. And yearn for. I adore it that much.

On the iPod: Overdrawn by the White Sea

Dudes, I am so dead. Today I was stuck going to the dentist. Dentist on a MONDAY. I was pretty sure that my mom tried to kill me this morning. So while I was stuck going to the dentist, my lil' sister and brother bothered me. I almost killed them. So at the dentist, I had to wait for like 2 HOURS while the dentist treated other people. Naturally I was peeved and so was Ma, so just as we were about to leave and tell the dentists to make a new appointment The DENTIST CALLED ME. And then after that, they stuck instruments of death in my mouth and murdered my teeth senseless.

And you know the suckier part?

They kept TALKING to me. Like this:

Dentist: Alright, Jazmin, we need you to open your mouth. Really wide.

Me: muffled voice as the instruments of death were placed in my mouth

Dentist: So what do you watch for TV?

Me: Mehfffers clhfoafle asoejs, reehhh (Translation: I can't speak you idiot!)

Dentist: Come on, open wide. AH AH AH, don't close or we'll have to start all over.

Gets newbie assistant to help him (almost kills me SEVERAL times)

After that, half of my face was numb and couldn't eat properly. So, this Monday was pretty SUCKISH and P.S to the dentist: I WILL HURT YOU AND TALK TO YOU WHEN THERE ARE DEATH INSTRUMENTS IN YOUR MOUTH.

I'll be back in a bit for a much better review ABOUT books.

On the iPod: Dance, Dance - Fall Out Boy

Sadly, Ally C. is not doing an exclusive with my blog but I'm continuing reviewing her books. They're like a reader high (or that may just be me). Anyways today's review: Cross my Heart and Hope to Spy (sequel to LYKY)

After the events of LYKY have shortly passed, Cammie Morgan's had to give up her first boyfriend to protect the secret of her elite school that these girls are being trained for the life of clandestine meetings and covert operations. Cammie just wants boys to leave her life so she can resume being a spy-in-training but that's easier said than done when she realizes the Gallagher Academy is going to play host withanother school for boys (AKA Blackthorne Institute) (and no they are not deranged psychos). The Blackthorne boys are unlike any boys you've read about because a) hellooo? spies and b)they're TWICE as mysterious as your regular boy. Also, it may help that two of them are likehot *coughcoughGRANT&ZACH*

Cross My Heart is a light fun read that you love to get into because it immerses you in the world f a teenage spy girl and also doesn't fall flat as a sequel. CMH doesn't fail to deliver sass, pizzazz, covert assignments and one of the best ballroom scenes penned down. Enjoy and bless you Ally Carter for being you with the clean content (save for some kissing) and hilarious put downs.
