Let the good times roll....................

City of Bones: 5 Stars, EPIC!
Move over Twilight teams, I'm all in for Team Jace

So City Of Bones was were we meet the players in this series.Clary also has the Sight, being able to see Shadowhunters and other demonic things (Jace, Isabelle etc.) Clary, Simon, Jace, Alec, Isabelle and others.I love the comical aspects of this book too how Jace,Alec, and Isabelle have never heard of Ebay or The Doors yet they have phones. Also, Cassandra Clare tries to make Clary feel/be in denial but she just accomplished her being just a tiny bit stupid. That being said I'm a fan and look forward to the last 3 books after City of Glass, I feel like its Harry Potter again but Its still so very good. Clary meets Jace, Alec and Isabelle at the club Pandemonium, walking into one of their demon- dispatch jobs. She's got no clue who they are but knows that they aren't human and she wants nothing to do with them. Easier said than done, because the next day her mom is in a coma and she needs
them (Shadowhunters) to help her. Things get even more complicated when they all find out Valentine (evil person) is coming back, uh-oh for the Shadowhunters. Anyway the ending is so weird that when reading City of Ashes, you're gonna be like "No, it's not right!"

Immortal by Gillian Shields

Hmm. Immortal was very good, as good as a young adult supernatural romance can get. I liked how they put past lives in this book, it's what played a big part in this book along with the really cute guy Sebastian even though he's killed Evie in a past life. Eh,that's the deal with the books now what can we do? But anyway it was a great book. Minus snobby private boarding school, snobby teenage girls, and evil teachers. It was interesting and Sebastian was like great. The only bad part was Sebastian had that whole broody, overprotective thing (which is great, don't get me wrong) but he was like "No Evie, you have to stay here until I come back" and I was like 'Girl, you have got to be joking! You can do better than this!'
Anyway i'm getting Betray by tomorrow so I'll see if Evie lets go of this guy or continues to pine after him. Meh, this can't get any worse can it? I hope not....

Let the awesomeness begin!

So just yesterday i went to the library to check out brand new books for my blog and i realized i had books on hold so i got them and i saw i had 8 books which told me i had too much free time that i always go to my public library's website.
Anyway among the stack was JEALOUSY by LILI ST.CROW
it's been qouted that Strange Angels is good it got this review
"Move over Buffy, here comes Dru."
(i think it goes like that :)

Also that its tagline: Love is a battlefield, are such true words to the series

Let me tell you its AMAZING! and if you have not read the Strange Angel Series well then get to it.

So picking up where Betrayals left off, Dru just got transported to the main Schola after the reformatory Schola has been burned down. Dru is very confused because Christophe isn't there with her, Graves is acting funny and to top it all of, the head of the Order, Anna, has it out for Dru.
Though it may contain some, or a lot , of bad language its still an amazing book and the Strange Angel series is not yet done because next spring DEFIANCE is coming out to leave you wanting more and to treat us check out the cover for Defiance! Just lovely! I'll be back tomorrow with some reviews for City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (also an amazing writer.)

Hex Hall

So when i picked up Hex Hall from the library like, a week ago, I had no idea what I was gonna read because I always check Amazon for any new books to read and I remembered I saw Hex Hall getting good praise so I said "What the heck!" and checked it out. So the plot is good: A teenage girl (Sophie) figures out she's a witch, but she gets caught and almost exposes her secret so it's of to Hecate Hall (know to Hex Hall for the kids there) and training. The dialogue,hmmm... where to start, Sophie, is smarter than half the teenagers out here in the real world but I'm sensing a kind-of "Screw the world" attitude for her. And the romance, oh god, it's like.... ehh. Sophie falls in love with a warlock whose ummm... not what he says he is. Oh and did I mention the secret organization that's hell-bent on destroying all magical beings? They're The Eye and extremely scary group that's been around forever. Good book? I let you decide for yourself when you check it out or buy it from Amazon. And if you like it, you can get Demonglass that'll come in 2011!!!

A None-Blonde Cheerleader in Love

Well sorry to not be posting for a while but i've been checking out another blog, 12 year old book critic at http://bookslistpelie.blogspot.com/ and let me tell you, the girl who writes it, Porshad Elie, amazing writer. Anyway the book I just read A Non-Blonde Cheerleader in Love was a good book. It didn't have bad language in every other sentence only like a few. It really showed me that cheerleading is a really tough sport and not easy like i thought it was also the boys versus girls fights that really made me crack up so hard like guys singing and making fools of themselves. So go on, and crack open a good book be it Doctor Who or a garfield comic strip, READ!! Thanks and next time I'll talk about Hex Hall.
